Example briefs show the kind of searches we take on. They are not active client searches, and photographs are illustrative. Rarity is our view of how hard that specification is to find.

Beyond the listings

Not for sale. Yet.

Many of the most desirable cars never reach a listing. They sit in private collections and quiet garages, owned by people who haven't thought about selling.

Where appropriate, we find potential sources, approach owners discreetly and explore whether an acquisition is possible. Sometimes the answer is no. Sometimes it's the start of a conversation.

What we do

Specific cars. Focused searches.

Not every car can be found, and not every owner will sell. We'll always tell you honestly how a search is going.

Vehicle sourcing

Specialist dealers, auctions, collectors and international markets, searched for the car in your brief, not the nearest one to it.

Private-owner outreach

When a car isn't advertised, we look for owners and approach them discreetly. Your name stays with us.

Market and spec research

Production numbers, option codes, colour combinations and recent prices, so you know exactly what you're asking for.

History and due diligence

Service records, ownership history, independent inspections and history checks, coordinated for you.

Introduction and negotiation

We introduce you to the seller and help you agree the price and terms. You buy the car directly from the seller, so you always know exactly what you're paying.

Transport and import

Enclosed transport and, where it applies, the import and registration steps to bring the car home.

About

Built around what you want.

Casa Lucas begins with the client, not with available inventory.

Every search is shaped around the specific model, specification, condition, provenance, budget and preferences of the person asking. We'd rather tell you a car is hard to find than offer you the nearest thing to it.

We're an independent acquisition company based in Manitoba, Canada, working with clients wherever they are.

Questions

Good to know.

What does it cost?

Sending a request and the search itself are free. Our finder's fee starts from 2% of the car's purchase price. The exact percentage depends on the car and the search, and it's agreed with you in writing before we start, and it's only due when you buy the car. If no purchase happens, you owe us nothing.

Who sets the price of the car?

The seller. We help you understand what the car is worth and negotiate on your behalf, and the decision to buy is always yours.

Who do I pay, and how do I get the car?

You pay the seller for the car, and Casa Lucas our percentage fee when the purchase completes. We coordinate the paperwork, inspection, enclosed transport and any import steps to get the car to you.

Can you find a car that isn't for sale?

Sometimes. Where appropriate, we look for owners of the car you want and ask whether they'd consider selling. Not every owner will, and we'll tell you honestly how it's going.

Which cars do you look for?

Collector cars from every era: post-war classics like the 300 SL, E-Type and DB5, 1970s and 1980s icons, modern classics, limited-production Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini, and today's hypercars. If it's specific and hard to find, ask.

How long does a search take?

It depends on the car. Some can be found in days; truly rare specifications take longer. After your brief, we'll give you an honest view of timing.

Is my inquiry confidential?

Yes. We don't share your name or contact details with sellers, and we never publish your search.
